FAQs
That is correct. However, Indian natural stone, especially hard sandstone, not only offers a huge variety of colors. It is also extremely robust and hard-wearing and, thanks to its high density, frost-resistant and can withstand European temperatures without any restrictions.
No! On the contrary. Of course you need to maintain and clean your natural stone, just as you do with your house and garden. You can usually obtain these (along with comprehensive advice) from your trusted building materials retailer/builders’ merchant.
Basically, your competent garden and landscaping contractor or processor knows what is important when laying natural stone. We recommend that our stones are always laid or processed by a specialist. The specialist knows the applicable standards and usually has the necessary experience. The following points, among others, should be noted (this list is not exhaustive!):
- Material must be mixed from different boxes of a delivery when laying
- Joint width specifications must be observed
- Drainage
- No calcareous substrate
You can find information on this under the menu item “Stone Application & Life“.
In addition to the standard items shown, which we usually have in stock, we can also offer individual custom-made products. Whether you need a different surface finish or individual dimensions – please contact us!
